Welcome to the GEO Referenda Homepage

At the January 25, 2007 Membership Meeting, those members present proposed that we amend our constitution and change our dues bylaw. After these proposals were recorded, all members were sent the proposals via the U.S. Mail so that all members can have the opportunity to vote on whether we should adopt these changes.

In the next two months, we will be collecting ballots from all members that YES or NO votes to two statements:

  1. I approve the DUES BYLAW proposed by the GEO membership at the January 25th, 2007 meeting.
  2. I approve the CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENTS proposed by the GEO membership at the January 25th, 2007 meeting.

The Ballot

 This section contains all of the information that you will need in order to fill out and return your ballot.

Dues Bylaw

 This is where you can find information about the proposed dues bylaw including the summary of the bylaw, the actual language of the bylaw and reasons why this bylaw has been proposed.

Amendments

 This is where you can find information about the proposed constitutional amendments including a list of the articles with summaries of the proposals and comparisons of the current language next to the proposed language.

Questions

 Find answers to frequently asked questions and contact information if there is a question that you would like answered not already on the list.
